Molly joined GJS in 2013. In addition to her personal design responsibilities, she assists Design Principal Alex Jordan on site visits, product selection, and installation. She often represents the firm with clients and vendors. Molly holds B.A. in Design from the Harrington Institute of Interior Design. She worked for Holly Hunt under Diedre Jordan (now Design Principal at Troscan Design) learning the painstaking process of furniture production. Her first commercial design position was with Corporate Concepts working closely with the Knoll Team. She spent nine years with Interface, Inc., the world’s largest modular carpet manufacturer, as a critical member of its Global Design Team. In that position, she headed showroom constructions, trade shows, large-scale entertainment events and more. She worked intimately with the company’s Global Creative Director on projects impacting the company’s worldwide client base. Molly brings an understanding of how artisans work, how pieces are made, how products are distributed, and how success is defined aesthetically to her work at GJS. She is the consummate Design and Project Director and balances time and budget with kindness and fun.
