Nadine Fatora

Nadine Fatora has served as a designer/project director with Gregga Jordan Smieszny since 1998. Since the age of 14, Nadine has always known that she wanted to be an interior designer. Her desire to pursue her career in design was confirmed after two internship in her early teens, one at a commercial deign firm and the other at highly acclaimed Janet Schirn Interiors. With over 34 years in the design field, Nadine is passionate about all aspects of the design process, from sourcing furnishings, art and antiques while blending colors and neutrals, textures and patterns to create an aesthetic that is unique to each client she works with. Nadine believes the process should be creative, effortless and truthful while seeking to provide the highest level of expertise, collaboration and support to seamlessly deliver exceptional results. Her work has been featured in Chicago Tribune Magazine, Metropolitan Home, Chicago Social, Architectural Digest and Luxe Interiors.
Background:
Nadine earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nadine began her career with Martin Design Group, Lake Forest, Il. as a junior draftsperson working on high-end custom design-built homes. The two years of experience provided Nadine a hands-on understand of building a home from ground up, a unique knowledge and skill for a designer. Turning her focus from architecture to interiors, Nadine’s career path lead her to positions at Julie Thomas Design and then 10 years with Arlene Semel & Associates where she managed all aspects of high-end residential projects from initial concept to final installation. In 1998, she joined Bruce Gregga Interiors.
